Description

Hello there and welcome to my auction. Please read my descriptions carefully before you bid. Please make sure you read everything especially the condition of each vinyl. The grading and criteria are below.

This is an auction for:  Oasis – Heathen Chemistry – RARE Original Double Vinyl LP album from 2002.

Original Europe Pressing on Helter Skelter records.

Pressed in Europe and is the original 2002 pressing.

Complete with booklet which is in good shape. There are some white foxing and old white mould marks in a few places from storage but I was able to clean most of this off and it is very presentable.

Plays at 45RPM

Vinyl Condition: G/VG (The records have light surface marks, light scratches and some light scuffs but are in good condition and play really well with very nice sound. There is some light crackle but no sticks or jumps. There is a small impurity in the vinyl mixture on the last track on side “D” but this does not affect the play. Great album and sounds amazing on the original vinyl).

Inner Sleeve Condition: VG (Some minor foxing spots and some light creases but both picture inners are in good shape).

Outer Sleeve Condition: G (Gatefold glossy sleeve has some edge and corner wear & creasing. There are a number of scratches to the front and back. The inside of the sleeve has the matt finish. Sadly some purple candy wax was spilt in over the inside at some point. This has been cleaned off to the best of my ability and is presentable but some marks remain. Overall a pretty good sleeve but not perfect).

I grade my records as follows:

M = Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.

Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.

VG = Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.

G = Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marks and deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality. Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents, or maybe water damage.

If you would like further information on sleeve or record condition then please email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
