Found this one in a lot of records picked from South African embassy. Looked like an acetate and it is, indeed, an acetate. Manufactured in Africa by CBS, 1980. One important thing is word PYRAL is engraved on both sides on record near the center hole. Please see enlarged images. Did some research and found following info

1. From wiki - In 1934, Pyral created a new type of transcription disc. Their innovation was to coat the aluminum disc with a layer of lacquer. These discs came to be known as lacquers or acetates.

2. From awandil.net - Matrix / Catalogue number for this single in various countries. For South Africa, it is CBS SSC 5090 (same as visible on this acetate)

3. Most important information obtained from Bob Dylan's fan / collector site serachingforagem.com - In 1981 CBS UK used blank acetates from a French company called Pyral, part of Rhône-Poulenc Systemes.

Condition of Record and Sleeve

By visual inspection -

Record in VG to VG + (EX) condition. There are no scratches light or heavy. Record has still maintained its shine and luster and 60% area of the record is in Ex condition. The reason for grading it VG is several paper marks are present on the record, obviously due to friction with paper sleeve. Didn't try to clean it.

I strongly advice you to listen the sound clip. Record plays VG to VG +. There is slight background noise and recording level of Xanadu side is higher than the other side.

Sleeve -

Plain white sleeve taped at one side. Might be the original sleeve. Poorly cut center hole.

Shipping $ 4 worldwide by registered airmail. It is a secure shipping method and signature of receiver is required. Record will be shipped in record mailers (made up of cardboard) with extra strong stuffers (cardboard pads). Record will be removed from jacket to avoid any damage to sleeve.

 

Delivery time by registered airmail takes 7 Days to 4 weeks in 95% cases. Normally 80 % foreign destined items reach within 14 days to respective countries. Shipping duration is not country dependent, for example sometimes items reach within 4 days to same country and sometimes they take up to 28 days to same country. However some countries have good shipping time than others. For USA and most of the european and asian countries, shipping time is 7 to 14 days in 80% cases and less than 20 days in 90% cases. But for countries like Italy / Brazil / Israel / Indonesia where custom procedure is slow, shipping time is 7 to 14 days in 50% cases, less than 20 days in 70% cases and less than 25 days in 95 % cases.

Shipping by DHL is also available and delivery time is very fast - 3 to 7 days in most of the countries but is expensive (starts from $25 for five EPs). DHL is economical if there are several items and weight is over 1 Kg.
