From my own collection that I'm down-sizing . . . .
Three early Orange Juice singles that I either got on release or very soon after, and have been in a box for about 40 years!
Blue Boy / Love Sick This is the version that has a b/w picture on one side and a yellow label on the other. It was played a little bit when I got it and I've just played both sides again now to check and it plays very well. The sides are etched: Side A: MPO 80/2 A-1 WHEN IS AN ARTIST AT HIS MOST DANGEROUS PORKY PRIME CUT Side B: MPO 80/2 B-1 WHEN HE'S DRAWING A GUN Visually the vinyl looks shiny and new, with just a couple of very faint surface marks near the edge of Side A that aren't audible. The sleeve is in excellent condition.
Simply Thrilled Honey / Breakfast Time This version has the labels on the correct side. It was played a little bit when I got it and I've just played both sides again now to check and it plays fine but with background noise that's a little bit more noticeable than the usual with a 7" single, but nothing very bad. The sides are etched: Side A: COMMERCIAL LYN 9100 80/6 A-1 EG A PORKY PRIME CUT Side B: PROGRESSIVE 80/6 B-1 EG A PORKY PRIME CUT LYN 9101 Visually the vinyl looks shiny and new. On Side A there is a little blemish in the pressing but it still plays fine, and the only other mark is a very very faint surface mark on Side A that you have to look hard to find. The sleeve is very good with just a bit of rubbing at the edges and a couple of minor tears by the opening on the rear.
Poor Old Soul / Pt 2 I think there was only one version of this single which came in a colour company sleeve. It was played a little bit when I got it and I've just played both sides again now to check and it plays very well. The sides are etched: Side A: STRAWBERRY 81 2 A-1 DAMONT Side B: STRAWBERRY THE MESSAGE 81 2 B-1 DAMONT Visually the vinyl looks shiny and new with no blemishes. The sleeve is in excellent condition with just a hint of ringwear on the rear.
They will be packaged well and sent out in the UK with free P+P.
