Of all the Crystal Clear direct-cut records ever made, almost every audiophile I know agrees: The two volumes called SONIC FIREWORKS are their faves. And for good reason.
This Volume 2 can just about scare any pet in the house, and rock the foundation if so called upon. Selections include compositions by Widor, Dupre, Mouret, Couperin, and Stanley. But if you need a place to start, just place the stylus on cut 1, side 1, for a version of the Strauss' "Fanfare" from ALSO SPRACH. (Pretty darn tasty, let me tell ya.)
One of the best demo LPs of organ, brass and percussion there is: Jacket is without major fault; record inside will play near mint.
(WARNING: This record will re-arrange your listening room furniture, so please watch your volume, initially. A dear audiophile friend calls this album "an audiophile wrecking ball.")
