Here is a RARE vintage album from my collection offered up for sale: This is an AUTHENTIC original 1958 USA pressing of "The Everly Brothers", their 1st Lp, released in 1958 by Cadence Records CLP-3003 (mono), this is the original pressing with the maroon & silver MICROGROOVE labels. This album is their break out debut album and the boys sing Little Richard's "Keep a knockin'" and "Rip it Up", Ray Charles' "Leave My Woman Alone", Gene Vincent's "Be bop a Lula", plus their self penned smash hit "Wake up Little Susie", also "Bye Bye Love" written by the Bryants. Hard to find collectable with a high book value of $75 - $100!
The heavy vinyl record rates VG/VG+, is glossy and clean, has some faint sleeve wear, some light marks, one 1 1/2" long more moderate mark, has been PLAY TESTED. Plays from start to finish with very good sound quality, some light pops, some light surface noise heard between tracks, clear sound, no skips, no jumps, a VERY enjoyable listen! The vintage cover rates Very Good (VG), great photo of the boys with no ring wear but has had some tape repairs, back has tiny pen writing and a few faint stains. (see all photos)
