This is an original mono / deep groove label pressing of the classic 1957 jazz LP: JOHN COLTRANE "BLUE TRAIN" (Blue Note / BLP 1577).
Featuring: John Coltrane, Lee Morgan, Curtis Fuller, Kenny Drew, Paul Chambers, and "Philly" Joe Jones.
Record shows some noticeable wear and several light marks - a couple that can be felt and one (appx. 1/2 inch) that creates some light repeated noises. Plays better than it looks with a crackle / light surface noise that is noticeable but does not overpower music. Not recommended for someone looking for a mint copy but great for someone looking to add a listenable original pressing to the collection!
Run off grooves include:
A Side: (ear) / RVG / BN-LP-1577-A / 9M
B Side: (ear) / RVG / BN-LP-1577-B / 9M
Cover shows some wear to seams - appx. 2 inch split in center of spine and appx. 1 inch split at bottom of spine - appx. 1 inch split in bottom seam at opening - appx. 1 inch split in top seam at opening. Writing on back cover near top seam. Front cover still looks great - see scans.
