It always gives me pleasure to make available these gorgeous performances beautifully pressed and recorded like this original '60 LONDON Blue Back UK early stereo audiophile lp, this is a 1E 2E pressing #CS-6165 featuring RUGGIERIO RICCI (violin) with the LONDON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA conducted by PIERINO GAMBA, There are 4 different performances (see photos for more info). The lp is in wonderful condition and hardly played. Labels are clean and brilliant, playing surfaces have a deep gloss shine with NO groove wear, scratches, defects, warps, or sleeve stains, only under close inspection and bright light could I see just a few extremely light surface scuffs that do not affect play, I played excerpts from each side, these are magnificent performances that sounded clean, clear and detailed with NO distortion or annoying background noise, quiet passages sounded beautiful , I heard only a few very soft background ticks. I listened to this lp using a very sensitive cartridge with high quality stylus, the amp was a Sony ES , the speakers are vintage Kef , years ago I had Krell amps , Apogee Scintilla Speakers and my pride and joy a Sota vacuum turntable, so I know what it means to properly grade these audiophile lps, I am very critical when I post these magnificent performances , the cover is strong with No seam or spine splits, bent or pushed in corners, ring wear, stickers, writing, etc., it does have wear and browning on back. spine print is very good, comes with its original plastic lined FFSS inner sleeve .
