Description

Here is a vintage record from my collection offered up for sale:  Elvis Presley's 1st record, "Elvis Presley", released in 1956, this a vintage 1st pressing "Long Play" mono with the "silver top Nipper" labels, LPM-1254! This is his very first album on RCA, prior to this, only releasing singles on the Sun Records label. This is fantastic Elvis with cool songs including Little Richard's "Tutti Frutti", Ray Charles "I Got a Woman", Carl Perkins "Blue Suede Shoes", "Blue Moon" and more! This heavy weight rigid vinyl record only rates VG/VG+, is clean and glossy, has some light marks on both sides, side two has a small more moderate mark, has been PLAY TESTED! Plays with very good audio quality, minimal surface noise (unobtrusive), clear sound, overall pretty quiet except has some popping on side two at the end of song 4 thru beginning of song 5, no skips, no jumps, a very enjoyable listen! This 1956 original cover only rates VG, is clean, color is bright, no ring wear, top and bottom splits have had old tape removed and then repaired with non-yellowing tape, binder edge is not split and is readable, has a light bend near edge, back has writing and some light age discoloration, clean excellent portraits of Elvis, a hard to find cover in decent condition! (see all pics). Includes vintage printed RCA inner sleeve! Own it now with my fair BUY IT NOW price! Will be shipped in protective plastic sleeve inside a secure record mailing box with tracking number. Vinyl will be shipped in paper sleeve outside cover to prevent cover damage.
