Record Condition

 

Label - Clean and in excellent condition

Record Surface - Side A  Clean with a few minor paper cuts/pressing marks - Side B Clean with a few minor paper cuts/pressing marks

Record Playback - Both sides play through without any skips or jumps and a couple of light pops. Pressing background noise is consistent with recordings of the time.

Record Sleeve/Cover - Generic Sleeve - See photos

Overall Condition Grading - Excellent

 

Record Description

 

This record is in excellent condition and one of the best I’ve ever seen. Due to its popularity at the time of its release these are usually played to death with writing on their labels and mostly without the centres. The label looks new and the vinyl still has some shine to it with a few paper cut/pressing marks on both sides. Play back is really good with the odd pop and the pressing background noise is consistent with recordings of the time. I’m using Studio monitors with Ortofon Concorde needles.

Overall I’m going to grade it conservatively as Excellent even though I bought it as EX+/ N/M.
