Description
Up for auction is this ORIGINAL pre-release review copy of Madonna's 7" first single "Everybody" from 1982, released on Sire Records in the UK, catalogue number W9899 45rpm. The vinyl has two tracks on it; Side A has "Everybody" on and side B has "Everybody" dub version (which I believe is rare!). This was a copy given to me by a friend who reviewed this for a music column and has only been played half way through side A so is in excellent condition. The sleeve is the original (see pictures) and is in very good condition however there is some slight bending around the corners as expected with a 30 year old vinyl; it is also the original Wea Die Cut sleeve design before the artwork was printed. The vinyl itself has no marks and is practically in mint condition as it has only been played half way through on side A. It is hard to come by a pre-release copy, never mind one in such a good condition as this! The text on the vinyl reads " Strawberry W9899 -A-1" on side A and "Strawberry W9899 -B-1" on side B. The vinyl will be sent via Royal Mail; I would recommend 1st Class Special Delivery due to the value of the record however an additional cost will be added to the P&P stated to cover further postage costs (to be negotiated at the end of the purchase and any additional fees will be added to the invoice) or if you like you can pick the item up from central Manchester (M15). Please confirm once you have won the item how you would like it to be sent. If you chose standard delivery please note that I cannot be liable for the item being lost by Royal Mail without tracking details.
