The Who Sell Out Stickered Sleeve & Poster
Original 1967 Mono UK Release
Here is a fantastically rare Who album from 1967 which is getting harder and harder to find as collectors buy them up. It's your chance to own a genuinely rare piece of 1960's memorabilia.
The poster was printed for only 250 copies of each of Stereo and Mono and there were probably a few extra for promotion and band members. It is without doubt a rock rarity in the same way The Beatles White album is.
The poster and the stickered sleeve together are extremely rare indeed and this is a fantastic chance to buy a great who album as it was released. This collection of rarities went for £464 here on ebay.
Record Condition
The record is in VG Condition The labels are really nice and clear and the vinyl is shiny. There are clicks and pops when playing but they don't interfere with the quality of the sound too much. This is a really good copy and would suit most collections.
Sleeve Condition
The sleeve is VG+ Condition and is free from any major marks or tears. The colour is still vibrant and the laminate still has a nice sheen. There is a scuff at the insert edge and a little creasing. The spine laminate is slightly split but doesn't have any breaks in it. The sticker "Free Psychedelic Poster Inside" is in good condition and has only minor discolouration. It shows no sign of being picked at. The sleeve has the original patents pending line along the bottom which means it is first pressing.
Poster Condition
The poster is in VG+ Condition and has a small discoloured mark on the rear. This doesnt shows through on the front. There are no tears in the folds. There are a few scratches to the ink but all in all this is a really nice original poster. The printers mark is along the bottom (see photos)
As always a low starting price. Also check our other items listing in the next few days. 1960's furniture.
