Ornette Coleman (with Don Cherry, Dewey Redman, Bobby Bradford, Charlie Haden, Billy Higgins, Asha Puthli) SCIENCE FICTION. Columbia KC 31061, recorded 1971. Disc plays flawlessly: M-. For a guy who loved this record this much, this is impressive. Jacket is NM. Like every copy of SF: there’s some greying wear to the white fields on reverse.
Here’s the tenth of about 50 batches of records from a fastidious NY-area collector with excellent taste. One owner since release in most cases. Very many of these were played either very little or very carefully. They’ve been carefully play-graded as well. Low starts, as you can see, and almost no reserves. Bid with confidence.
