PANORAMA / UN IMPERMEABILE BIANCO ... 7-inch, 45rpm OST TV single by PAOLA ORLANDI with GIGI CICHELLERO ORCHESTRA and I "4 + 4" Di NORA ORLANDI. Original Italian pressing on SAGITTARIO label (ZS 50003), from circa 1969. Killer vocal lounge masterpiece. An elusive and beautiful double-sider by the cult Italian singer / scat vocalist and sister of Nora Orlandi :) Features the sophisticated blue bossa theme PANORAMA with smouldering vocal phrasing / bass flute a la Gino Marinacci and psychedelic keyboards spiking the Brazilian orchestrations. Heady and seductive mood music used for the Rai television show, Due Donne, Un Uomo, Una Citta. Comped on Metti Una Bossa A Cena Vol. 1 for the Schema label. Great for DJs with booming production sound. The UN IMPERMEABILE BIANCO side is also amazing. Still with a Brazilian slant but more filmic with even trippier e-piano / soaring vocals and flashes of scat harmony. Another Rai production and actually a super-obscure giallo thriller theme from a film called Giocando A Golf, Una Mattina... Same singer behind the tres sexy Papaya / Lady Fortuna single on CBS label. Seldom comes up for auction in top condition as most copies are usually always trashed. René Magritte influenced sleeve artwork to die for too. Very rare OST 45!!!  

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

Vinyl is in shiny M- condition overall with a few hairlines / faint scuffs from sleeve removal. Some light surface noises. A couple of soft pops (as you can hear on our soundclip). Item taken from a previously unplayed deadstock of records and was played once or twice before the recording of our soundclip. The soft card picture sleeve is closer to M- condition overall regardless of some ring creasing and a touch of wear in places (mostly to spine side bottom edge corner). A couple of faint dirt blemishes from storage. Very rare OST 45!!!
