Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years. My main interest has been PROGRESSIVE especially the VERTIGO SWIRL/SPIRAL LABEL, reputed to be the most collectable label in the world?

I have finally finished my SWIRL collection of over 160 albums of which most are UK pressings, and now I am going to SELL them ( I must be mad ). I have been quite fussy about the QUALITY, CONDITION and they must be the VERY FIRST PRESSINGS. The latter has been the hardest to decipher and has had me buying and selling many copies of the same album to achieve this, and I almost have with these collectable gems.

I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWESOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.

For sale here is --PATTO--HOLD YOUR FIRE-- UK ORIGINAL VERY FIRST PRESSING WITH VERY FIRST PRESSING SLEEVE,1971, stereo 6360 032 The 37th of 87 UK pressings on this label. MORE WILL FOLLOW!

SLEEVE.....GATEFOLD,GIMIXED and UN-LAMINATED.  It is in GREAT condition showing very little wear. It is a GENUINE VERY FIRST PRESSING.  It is very flat and square. The colours are very strong and vibrant LIKE NEW. The bottom edge is in EX condition with very little wear. The top edge is also in EX++condition. The front of the sleeve is devided int three parts and are extremely fragile and prone to wear and tear and are often missing! Not here they are all fully intact and look great, NO UNWANTED WRITING, NO STICKER TEARS, NO STICKERS, NO RING-WEAR  AND NO STAINING, just a small light crease to the top right corner.  The opening edges  are in lovely condition with no tears and no feathering. The spine shows wear but is in a most acceptable condition with fully ledgable text.  The inside gatefold is in fantastic condition and is clean and bright and SUPERB EX+. The only other sign of wear is to the very very tips of the corners. This album comes with AN ORIGINAL VERY FIRST PRESSING SWIRL INNER SLEEVE in very good condition . All in all this is in wonderful condition for a 36 year old sleeve. EX.

LABELS.....Both  A and B-side labels are N/MINT with only ONE OR TWO very light spindle marks on each side. STUNNING AS NEW!!

VINYL....Both sides of this fantastic album still have their JUST PRESSED deep black shine. When you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can hardly even see very few, light surface hair lines which are very light and mostly cased removal and replacement in and out of the inner sleeve, there are no nasty marks or scratches. In normal daylight this album is PRISTINE. Both sides play WITHOUT SCRATCHES, CLICKS OR JUMPS. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all, wonderful sound stage and stereo seperation. There are a very small amount of dust crackles that can be heard only in the very quiet parts of the music or between trcks, but a professional clean should sort out most of that.This is a superb album in the most wonderful of conditions. These HEAVY VINYL origional pressings are second to none. This really is a top copy that any collector would be delighted to add to their collection, a real KEEPER .EX++/EX++.very nice!! 

THIS ONE IS SO HARD TO FIND IN ANY CONDITION. SUPER RARE LIKE THIS. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPOINTED.
