Joshua Barnes Howell was the first country blues artist issued on Columbia Records 14000 Race series. He played the streets of Atlanta often with 2nd guitarist Henry Williams and violin player eddie Anthony. He appears on this 1927 disc with both as his gang.
Record has very few light scratches and scuffs. Surface does have some pressure marks as if it had been stacked unsleeved for some period of its life. There is considerable shine beneath the pressure marks. There is minor wear on the "A" side label ( see scan). Record looks more worn than it plays. Visually this record is V. Audibly it is V+ at least.
