RARE US first pressing of The Peter Peter Ivers Band album "Terminal Love" on Warner Brothers Records (1974).
A classic piece of outsider rock, akin perhaps to the Hampton Grease Band ("Music To Eat"), a smoother Captain Beefheart thriving more on stealth than abrasiveness, or perhaps even mid-period Frank Zappa & The Mothers. Peter Ivers Band guitarist Elliot Ingber had shared stages both with Beefheart, as well as with Zappa, and the zany humour of all mentioned is a shared characteristic of the music found herein. Truly, this is 70s L.A. art rock at its finest: If ever there was a record cover that slyly reflected the album`s musical content, while simultaneously eliciting either grins of sarcasm or forceful expressions of disgust at its sheer tackiness, Terminal Love was surely it!

- Perfect vinyl on both sides, with impeccable audio reproduction throughout.
- Visually pristine record, with no hairlines, scuffs or other signs of previous play at all.
- Original Warner Bros Records labels with no spindle wear whatsoever.
- The matrix stamps in the run-off grooves read "BS 2804 1B 4084 3-1" on Side One and "BS 2804 1B 4084 4-1 1A" on Side Two.
- This copy of "Terminal Love" by The Peter Peter Ivers Band is certified to be a US first pressing, issued in 1974.
