Conditions : flpback cover is laminted on the front. Some minimal edge wear and a slight creasing on the upper left corner; NEAR MINT / vinyl has an original record company promotional sticker on the second side of the label, look to image nr. 3, and the original inner sleeve. Few slight cosmetic rubs do not affect play at all, EX+ 

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a turntable Rega Planar 3 with a moving magnet cartridge Grado Statement 1. I listen EPs and singles 45  rpm. on a turntable Thorens TD 166 BC with a MM cartridge Goldring 1006. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Notes : l'album comprende nove canzoni, quattro delle quali in duetto, scritte da vari compositori e interpretate da Sophia Loren e Peter Sellers oltre a un'intervista con l'attore Inglese e a tre sue raffinate brevi interpretazioni parlate. L'attrice ha una voce fresca e piacevolissima e nei duetti, sia romantici che swing, riesce perfettamente ad amalgamarsi con il più accentuato timbro vocale dell'attore Inglese. Lui è veramente un fuoriclasse e un grande mattatore. La sua interpretazione in " Oh ! Lady Be Good " è formidabile. Accompagnato da un buon ritmo swing il suo canto privo di parole imita magnificamente il suono degli strumenti a fiato. Nella canzone " Ukelele Lady " fate attenzione a non essere ingannati dall ascolto di vari fruscii e tics & tocs. In realtà sono stati intenzionalmente registrati utilizzando i suoni di un 78 giri graffiato del 1927.  Arrangiamenti e orchestra Ron Goodwin, la produzione è di George Martin.

Notes : album features nine songs, four of them in duet, written by various composers and performed by Sophia Loren and Peter Sellers as well as an interview with the English actor and his three refined short spoken performances. The actress's voice is cool and very pleasant and in the duets, both romantic or swing, goes to harmonise perfectly with the stronger vocal timbre of English actor. He is truly a star and a great entertainer. His performance in " Oh, Lady Be Good " is formidable. Accompanied by a good swing rhythm  his wordless singing wonderfully mimics the sounds of brass instruments. In the song " Ukelele Lady " be careful not to be fooled by listening to some hiss and pops. In fact they were intentionally inserted during the recording using a scratched 78 rpm of 1927.  Arrangements and Orchestra Ron Goodwin, production of George Martin.
