THE PHIL WOODS QUARTET - "WOODLORE" ULTRA RARE 10" UK JAZZ ALBUM ON ESQUIRE.

THIS IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION AND THE ONLY THE THIRD COPY IN THIS CONDITION TO APPEAR ON EBAY IN THE LAST 3 YEARS. Which sold for a lot more than my starting bid, I have not put on a reserve so don't miss your chance.

This is one of the Rarest British Jazz Albums, Esquire was a specialist Jazz label, making small Quantity Quality records, mainly sold in specialists shops, this recording probably one of only a handful copies that have remained in this condition. In it's day it would have only sold only a couple of hundred copies.

I have played it through I would have say the sound reproduction is Excellent! with no Distortion! or static crackle,there are NO JUMPS, Just a few pops and 3 clicks on the last track side one, these do not detract from the overall enjoyable listen. Which is remarkable for a record of this age. Visually there scuffs and light scratches, but most don't sound.

The cover is still there, so many of this type and age records have lost thier jackets, take a look at the photograph's I've taken, I would grade the cover good, a little edge and ring ware, and damage to the spine, but when you consider its from 1953, most people were still only buying 78's. There are No rips, or repairs, writing on the sleeve.
