Description
PHIL YOST : Bent City LP (Takoma [USA] C-1016) 1967.
Jacket is VG with light ring wear and previous owner's name written in ballpoint at lower left front edge as well as on black label (difficult to notice, see photos) and short seam split at top. Record is Near Mint (our highest grade for a record). From a large single-owner collection (see our other auctions for more from the same collection). The previous owner made a habit of taping his LPs as he bought them and only playing the tapes to preserve the condition of his vinyl. So, most of the records we are listing from this collection are either Excellent or Near Mint even in cases where the jackets are not. We regret that he didn’t store his records in outer sleeves and that he added his name to many of the records which has led to some wear and lower grades to jackets of otherwise NM records. Better than the other way around though! See each record description for condition specifics. Play graded Near Mint original pressing. Despite the regrettable wear to the jacket, it does not appear that anyone played the record itself much at all. One of the more obscure and mysterious releases on Takoma.
