This is a gently used 3-lp 12" vinyl LP set in the original METAL FILM CAN by PiL (Public Image Ltd.) titled METAL BOX. This is the original FIRST PRESSING from 1979 on Virgin Records Ltd. It's #METAL1. They play at 45 RPM. This is a very limited release imported from the U.K. & was discontinued by late 1979. This material was re-issued in both the U.S.A. & the U.K. as double vinyl lp releases in 1980 in standard vinyl packaging titled Second Edition. See the pics for further details. PLEASE NOTE: The eBay pre-filled system doesn't have any info about this 12" vinyl set. The vinyl is VG+ or better. They're very clean & shiny and still have the magnetic pull to them when pulling them out of the metal can & from in between the inner paper sleeves that separate each lp. If they were ever on a turntable, it might've been once or twice upon its' initial release. It's been housed & protected since then. Like all vinyl, there may or may not be some surface noise when playing. By the looks of the vinyl under a strong light, I see MAYBE some light surface marks so this disclaimer is always needed. I don't have the equipment to play test the records so this is graded under a strong light. I suggest to PLAY IT LOUD! The black & white and red & white labels are very clean. NO spindle marks on them. The metal can is in VG condition with dings, marks, etc., around it from handling. It's obviously aged a bit & has numerous scratches, metal aging & fatigue, etc., all around. There's one slight dent on the back from accidentally dropping it. The inner round paper sleeves are in VG condition. The original insert with credits is included. It's in VG condition but shows some wear from handling & banging around inside the can. As of this writing, this set is appx 42 years old. I'm very cautious when grading & very critical about it. I may overstate some of the conditions but better safe than sorry! THIS ITEM IS SOLD AS IS.
