Description
So, after five decades of collecting vinyl and Hi-Fi, the time has finally come to downsize. Over the next few months, with great reluctance, I will be gradually selling off my treasured collection of records, cds and hi-fi equipment. It will take a while !!! For instant sale is a copy of the very rare SPECIAL EDITION album from 1971 called 'NEVER-NEVERLAND' by PINK FAIRIES. It is on the Polydor label and has the catalogue number 2383-045. This special edition comes with a stencilled PVC outer sleeve, a card gatefold inner and a 'picture' inner sleeve. The record has the A//1 and B//1 matrices in the run-out grooves confirming that this is a first UK pressing. The PVC outer sleeve is in overall very good condition but it does have a split along part of one edge and a couple of other bits of damage - these are all shown in the photos. The gatefold card inner is in very good/excellent condition with just a few creases - again, these are shown in the photos. The picture inner sleeve is also in very good/excellent condition with just some creasing. Please study all the photos to see the condition for yourself. The labels are in excellent condition with just a few 'spindle trails'. The record is in very good/excellent condition with just a few surface marks. It plays without any 'sticks' or 'jumps' but light surface noise (crackle) and occasional 'pops' can be heard especially in the quiet sections and between tracks. However, once the music kicks in these are not really noticeable and overall it is a fine listen. Maybe a good clean would reduce the 'crackle' ? I have priced the item to reflect the faults described above. The album will be wrapped in bubblewrap before posting to ensure that it does not get damaged on its journey. I will dispatch it in a proper record mailer and will post within one working day of purchase by Second Class 'tracked' post so that it gets on its way to you as soon as possible.
