...and moving on...the item on offer here is:

ARTIST:              various artists    .
TITLE:                "Brian de Courcy presents...MY FAVOURITE KINDA' PEOPLE!"
FORMAT:             …vinyl LP…
LABEL:                  W&G     .
CATALOGUE #:  WG-25/2560

YEAR OF RELEASE:  late 1965
PRESSED IN:       Australia   .

ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING?  Yes!...

Brilliant (and very rare) original 60's comp!...see scan for track listing...Pink Finks were one of Australia's most raw and primitive garage groups...ever...(they included Ross Wilson, Jimmy Niven, Ross Hannaford..) - Strangers, and Little Gulliver cuts are also R'n'B/garage...Johnny Cooper, Merv Benton, and Colin Cook are closer to 50's rock'n'roll than Beatles...but they all rock out!! (especially Cooper's "She's Got It!" - massively rockabilly cut!!)...which just leaves us with the superb girl-group sounds of Pat Carroll - both her cuts are very very Phil Spector-ish.......an awesome comp!!

CONDITION:

COVER: (VG+[+]) ...front just has very basic light wear and back has some ringwear and staining (see scan)...

VINYL: (VG++)...has light scuffs only...it's in great condition...plays very well ! ...labels are clean!!

If you have any concerns about the accuracy of my gradings, please check my feedback for the odd nice comment from some satisfied folk out there.... (and hopefully you may be able to join their ranks).

You can pay in US$'s or UK pounds or Australian dollars.

Thanks for considering this item. Best of luck if you decide to bid...Cheers, Jules.
