Pink Floyd - Atom Heart Mother

 

UK 1969 Columbia Reissue


This is the first version with the black and silver labels. 

The 'All Rights' etc text around the rim of the label begins with The Gramophone Co Ltd rather than EMI Records. It was issued in an identical sleeve to the original 1968 Black & Blue label issue i.e. flip-back sleeve with "File Under Popular" printed back, top right corner of the sleeve, Garrod & Lofthouse printer credit with the '6807' date code although it was obviously issued at a slightly later date. There is only one EMI box at 6 o'clock on the label, later versions had two. As originally issued it came with an EMI "Patents Applied For" paper inner advertising other EMI lps.

 

 

VINYL: NM

Vinyl has a strong and rich gloss on both sides and looks absolutely stunning. Clean and crips with superb audio playback. Only in bright light can a few very faint and wispy sleeve removal hairlines be found, absolutely no affect to audio whatsoever. A real gem!


SLEEVE: EX+/NM

 Beautiful condition, crisp and clean all over. Straight edges and spine, looks and feels like new. Just the mildest of edge/corner wear, nothing heavy at all



LABELS: NM

Stunning labels on both sides.
