I am currently auctioning off some my own personal collection of LP's that I have collected over many years. I play all my records on a Vintage Toshiba deck. I will try to be as accurate as possible with my description. Having said that, if you need any more information, please contact me. Oh but don't ask me to end the auction early.
PINK FLOYD A saucerful of secrets, Rare 1st UK LP MONO version from 1968. 3633-1 / 3634-1. Matrix all in Excellent condition.
GENERAL NOTES:
1st UK mono pressing, flip-back laminated front sleeve.
Blue/Black Columbia labels read: "...sold in U.K. subject to resale price conditions, see price lists".

The heavy set vinyl is in overall VG++ to excellent condition and is still retains it's bright & shiny looking surface. It is one of the best copies that I've seen, a real gem, especially for the Rare mono version. The vinyl has a few faint surface marks, certainly nothing feelable. These are only visible only under very strong light. I have played the record through in it's entirety and could only hear a bit of static and crackles between and during some of the tracks. There always seems to be a small degree of static at the beginning of both sides and during the record, I think this seems to be common to the mono versions especially. This record being mostly instrumental, especially during the quiet parts is very susceptible to any static interference. Having said this if you're a true vinyl aficionado you will have come across this problem many times, I suspect. All records may benefit from a professional clean as I only use a record cloth to remove dust.
Labels are both excellent, with only very light spindle wear.
The inner sleeve is not the original, but the replacement is in excellent condition.
The original front laminated flip back cover, is overall in excellent condition. There is some very light creasing, mainly along the edges, minimal. There is some minor edge wear and no major spinal wear (the words are all perfectly legible). There are no splits, and no corner wear. Overall the laminate still retains its shiny glossy look all over. There are certainly no rips or tears. The opening edge is reasonably straight with no real deterioration.
I only send LP's using insured postage. All LP's will be sent in a solid, card box packaging. The cost is £8.70 valid in the UK only. This is by Royal Mail Special Delivery and is fully insured.
If for any reason and in the unlikely event you are not happy with the LP, you may return it for a full refund, you must pay for return insured postage yourself.
