A great condition copy of this 1977 UK very 1st press with gorgeous wide spine gatefold and terrific stereo sound quality throughout
Year/Label : 1977 UK HARVEST Label number : SHVL 815 Matrix numbers : SHVL 815 A 2U, SHVL 815 B 2U Stampers : 3 AL / 2 MONear mint (NM) condition vinyl - it's not often that I grade the condition of vinyl as "near mint" (and buyers often tell me that my gradings are conservative) but in this instance I have little hesitation : completely flat, beautiful jet black sheen, and difficult to find any marks at all, even with close inspection under a bright light. If you look really hard in sunlight you may just be able to detect one or two small and wispiest of wispy faint hairlines on each side due to paper scuffing but I'm niot sure that this is any more than you would expect too find on a brand new record. Remarkable, especially when considering that this record is almost 50 years old! The labels are in excellent plus (EX+) condition - just 3 or 4 small and extremely faint spindle trails adjacent to the centre hole on each label, otherwise perfect. Clearly this is a record that has been little played and well looked after. A solid excellent (EX) condition Garrod & Lofthouse 1st press non-laminated wide spine gatefold outer sleeve - firm edges with just a little minor intermittent light scuff on each, a rigid spine with just a couple of light "nicks" and all spine text perfectly intact, perfectly defined right angled corners with minimal rubbing on each, firm opening edges with no fraying, no ring wear, and all colours, iconic art work, text and photos remaining in great condition with wonderful clarity still. The only blemishes are just a few non-obvious 1-2cm surface "crinkles" adjacent and perpendicular to the front-side top edge and spine, a 3cm light surface "crinkle" on the reverse towards the left hand opening edge, and just a couple of small, very light and barely noticeable surface marks - all very trivial. Do take a good look at my photos where I have attempted to give a detailed and honest portrayal of the condition of this iconic gatefold. The all-important 1st press inner cardboard sleeve is in similarly excellent (EX) condition, complete with rounded edges and a 9 inch thumb notch on the top edge. No side splits and just a 1cm scuff in the middle of the bottom and left side edges. Stunning near mint (NM) stereo sound quality with no sticks, skips, repeats, distortion or background crackle - wonderful tone and crystal clear stereo reproduction with brilliant sound quality throughout. You may come across one or two very, very light random background clicks, no doubt due to the odd speck of dust caught in the grooves through decades of storage, but no more than you may experience on a brand new record. Every track remains a timeless and wonderful listen. Amazing! Note that I always ship the vinyl in a new plain white inner sleeve in order to protect the original. A brilliant condition copy of this 19777 UK earliest 1st press Pink Floyd classic...very difficult to find in condition as truly impressive as this.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
