Title : Atom Heart Mother Label : Harvest Cat No : SHVL 781

Matrix : A- 1G / B-1G Issue : UK Complete 1st Press No EMI

This is the UK 1st press of 'Atom Heart Mother' by Pink Floyd. This is a genuine 1st press with no EMI logo and 'The Gramophone Co Ltd' and 'Made In Gt Britain' rim text. It has the very earliest matrix 1G/1G endings. It is complete with the original earliest 1st press Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve. Printed on the inside of the sleeve is the Patent number text and '7010' digits. This 1st press sleeve is also on a slightly different grade of card and has a different look and feel to later presses.

The record is in Very Good+ condition, it has a bright gloss, with a number of very light marks on each side. The label is bright green and the colours are bold and the text sharp. There is the slightest spindle wear and a sticker scuff on one side. The label clearly displays 'The Gramophone Co Ltd' and 'Made In Gt Britain' rim text and there is No EMI logo. On playing there is some very light background noise, but the sound is still very warm, rich and extremely clear. The record is complete with the original Harvest advertising inner sleeve.

The Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold cover is in Very Good+ condition. The colours are bold and the images are sharp. There is some light corner and a little edge wear. The inside is sharp and clearly displays the essential 7010 and patent text. The whole sleeve is still firm and completely clean. It has the original bright sheen.
