Part of a large Pink Floyd collection I have been asked to sell. This is raising funds for a friends divorce settlement (OUCH).
For sale is the iconic "Dark side of the moon". 2nd UK pressing with A3 and B2 matrices.
Fully play-graded as shown below.
What I do say is that if for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with my description, I will accept a return, give a full refund and pay the return postage in full. I cannot make a better offer than that.
Cover is in very good shape, although it has the previous owners short name on the front. Never understand that! grades excellent. Inner sleeve is the first issue variant in black with text in bottom corners in grey. Inner is not so good. Lost the poly lining and is split a bit. Tatty and grades good. The vinyl visually looks really good without anything unduly worrying to see. However, it does not play as good as it looks. A good clean may help. I do not know how much difference it could make.
This is my play-grading:- Firstly, the majority of this album plays quite well and sits in that grey area of VG+ and Ex-. The rest does not! Side 1 starts OK. Then in the segue between tracks 3 and 4 ("Time"), a soft click starts which continues until the vocals kick in on "Time". To end side 1 (Great gig), the last minute has a light click through to the dead wax. Side 2 starts with a light click for about 20 seconds, then the rest of the side plays well with no major worries. Such a shame for a valuable vinyl, and you would never tell by its visual appearance. Overall grade is just very good.
All albums are sent in a new anti-static inner sleeve and new heavy duty polythene outer sleeve. All in the price.
I am happy to post worldwide. I can give an exact price once I have packed and weighed the collection and know its destination. In the meantime I have put down a blanket cost for overseas postage which I will amend once I know the destination country.
