For sale here is a really great copy of the bands most iconic album, "Dark side of the moon". Released in 1973, this is the genuine UK 2nd pressing with the matrices A3 / B2 and "The Gramophone Co Ltd" text around the rim of the label.  I have fully play-graded the album, detailed below. Comes with both posters and postcard/stickers, all in great condition.
Cover is gatefold style and has very light handling wear, but no serious marks or damage. Nice example graded VG+.
Inner sleeve is white with patent number and made in Great Britain text. Slightly discoloured with age, but totally solid and grades EX.

Posters are less glossy than later types, with the pyramid one having narrow borders as per early issue. The band one has a tiny pinhole in each corner where it has been displayed in the past, not so the pyramid one. These pin holes are tiny and hard to spot, but I have taken a photo of each corner for total clarity. Both posters are in great shape and grade as VG+ for the band poster and EX for the pyramid poster.
Postcard stickers are the FASPRINT CRACKBACK with brown diagonal lines on the rear. Both have a light crease from being trapped in the hinged gatefold cover. The brown one creased to a single corner, the yellow one creased in a slightly larger area, corner to top edge. Aside of this, both are perfect and both graded as EX-.
The vinyl is really good. A nice depth of glossy shine, deep black lustre. No marks to cause concern. It has a slight rise and fall on the platter, but plays through without any issues, and I only track at one gram, so rest assured this plays fine. The audio is quite special. Clarity and punch are hugely impressive and enjoyable. Remember, this is only a heartbeat (no pun intended) from a solid blue triangle first pressing. On playing, I made the following observations.... The rise and fall of the vinyl on the platter. A second or two of light background before the cash register kicks in on "Money". Very very quiet in between tracks and quiet passages. The heartbeat lead-in and "Time" lead-in are superb. No noise. This album has NO issues and plays through beautifully. No clicks, skips, ticks, tocks, scratches etc etc. Mother/stamper combinations are as follows. Side 1.  3 GHA. Side 2.  ? (cannot read it)  GLR.
So a 100% genuine 2nd UK pressing. All genuine and original parts. Nothing mixed and matched from later copies. If the winning bidder is not over the moon with this copy, I would be amazed, but I do accept returns if this is not an accurate description.

Many many sellers on Ebay claim in their listings how rare an album is, even a bog standard copy of this album, however the A3/B2 copy is highly desirable due to its sound quality and early pressing and a worthy addition to any collection. This one is a little gem.
