Description
The Dark Side of the Moon A8 / B8
This relatively early pressing of this iconic LP is in excellent condition. This may be a rare matrix in that there are no A8/B8 pressings on pinkfloydarchives.com at all. There are two posters present but only one of the stickers.

There are a number of faint hairlines, a couple of fingerprints and a handful of fine scratches but overall it is still very clean and has certainly not been played excessively as there is not a great deal of spindle wear.
Play grading
The intro to 'Speak To Me' has a minimal amount of static and plays extremely well. 'Breathe' again has great clarity but has a little underlying static here and there but is not intrusive in my opinion. 'On The Run' has a couple of light clicks at the beginning but thereafter plays with wonderful quality. Actually it sounds fantastic! Apart from the first 5-10 seconds it plays as new - wow! The ending just has a little crackle at the end. 'Time' again has a little background crackle at the beginning but I honestly don't think it affects the quality of the listening. The remainder of this classic track has no other interference and sounds stunning. As anyone knows 'The Great Gig...' has a very quiet intro and whilst there is a little crackle again it isn't intrusive and the entire track actually plays with excellent clarity although I did hear a couple of louder clicks near the end. In saying that the very quiet ending plays with hardly any other background noise and sounds superb.
'Money' from beginning to end plays with immaculate audio. The depth of the bass on this track is superb and this is one of the best versions I have heard in a long time. 'Us And Them' has minor static at the beginning and then plays with great quality. 'Any Colour You Like' to my ears sounds like new and 'Brain Damage' also has fantastic audio with no issues whatsoever. 'Eclipse' ends this classic LP with top class sound and only a little distortion that is often so prevalent on this track.
Gatefold cover
Overall the gatefold is very clean with only minor shelf wear. The edges have minimal rubbing in a couple of areas and the spine is close to perfect and there is only a touch of wear on the corners. The inside of the gatefold is very clean apart from a small mark on the top left and right where it appears it was stuck together at some point. The back cover is also in great shape. So often these black covers are battered and heavily marked but this one remains relatively unscathed and is an excellent example.
Inner sleeve
The original white inner sleeve with corners clipped is in excellent condition with no rips or tears just mild creasing.
Labels
Both labels are in excellent condition with not that much spindle wear and there are no marks to be seen anywhere.
Posters/Sticker
The two posters are in wonderful condition with no markings and the yellow graphics sticker has light creasing on a couple of corners.
