Description

Here for auction is my much prized possession which I purchased new in 1973 from Rumbelows, ( Remember them?).

The Garrod & Lofthouse Midnight Blue gatefold sleeve is in great condition. There are no tears..stickers..writing or creases. Just a few light scuff marks on the edges. The spine is straight and solid. On The back top right corner is the number SHVL 804 and underneath is (  IE-064 o 05249 ) Any significance anyone?

The two posters are in near mint condition, no tears.. stickers..writing or pin holes and the two postcards are perfect, still with their removeable strips on the back.

The record comes in its original poly lined black inner sleeve in great condition also.

The Vinyl itself is excellent +++. It still has a lovely deep sheen and has no scratches or scuff marks. It has a few hairline marks as always caused by taking in and out of its sleeve. It plays superb, no loudclicks..skips..or hops etc. It has some quiet static noise mainly on the first track where the heartbeat comes in which soon disappears under the increasing volume of the music and a very few quiet clicks in odd places, ( Being hyper critical here) It is Vinyl after all and not a cd. I do play my music very loud so you hear any discrepancies. It still has a lovely warm, clear, crisp sound, as you would expect from an early pressing.

The numbers on the run off are.....

Side 1. SHVL 804  B-2 C-1

Side 2. SHVL 804  A-2 GDT

It will be very well packed for posting( see my feedback) FREE U.K. ONLY! overseas will be £4.00. If you require extra insurance please let me know and I will adjust the invoice accordingly.

Any questions please ask and I will answer asap.

Thanks for looking.
