PINK FLOYD - DARK SIDE OF THE MOON LP - Very rare earliest First Press Vinyl AND Sleeve AND Inner!
AS I AM SURE YOU ARE AWARE, THE VERY FIRST PRESS OF THIS ALBUM HAD THE SOLID BLUE TRIANGLE IN THE CENTRE OF THE LABEL, WHICH WAS VERY QUICKLY WITHDRAWN DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE SILVER TYPEFACE WAS DIFFICULT TO READ AND WAS REPLACED WITH THE MASS PRODUCED OUTLINE LABEL
ALSO, THE FIRST ISSUE SLEEVES WERE A SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT COLOUR TO THE MORE COMMON REISSUES. THE SURFACE WAS A DELICATE POWDERY MATT BLUE-BLACK FINISH AS OPPOSED TO THE SHINY JET BLACK FINISH OF THE REISSUES. ALSO, THE LEFT HAND 'GATE' WAS SEALED CLOSED.
THE ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSES ALSO CAME WITH A BLACK POLY-LINED INNER SLEEVE
...AND HERE WE HAVE ALL THREE! TOGETHER WITH BOTH ORIGINAL POSTERS

SLEEVE: thin scratch under the triangle on the front and light wear to corners, otherwise lovely: EX
POSTERS: Light creasing on the Green...Blue Superb: EX/EX+
VINYL - SIDE ONE: just a few very fine hairlines..plays Superbly with just a little light surface crackle in some quieter parts..lovely crisp sound..no jumps, pops, clicks or distortion: AUDIO EX / VISUAL EX

I use RC gradings, although I tend to undergrade, so that the buyer is fully satisfied -I only use the term 'Mint' if an item is sealed, So many of my EX+ grades might be considered 'Mint' by many . I also do not believe there is much point in just putting EX/EX or VG+/EX as this can vary hugely between sellers, so I try to put in as detailed description as I can

When sending, all records and inner sleeves are separated from their main outer sleeves then both placed in poly sleeves , then in thick card, then in bubble wrapped envelopes for the best protection possible
