This record is in very good condition. It has faint spindle marks and rubbing visible on the labels but no scuffs, pen marks or severe fading anywhere. The centre holes show some wear but are not loose and overall the labels are clean, bright and in decent shape.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are free from anything deep but do have lots of light lines/scratches and sleeve scuffs visible in normal light. There is nothing deep or sinister however but there are lots more light wispy lines evident when viewed under bright white light. The record has no serious scuffs, marks or blemishes and despite being clearly well used still has a decent shine.
I play tested the record and it plays well overall with no major issues such as skips or clicks but some light surface noise in the quieter parts. It lays flat, there is next to no movement in the record arm and the sound produced is still very enjoyable as I say. There is some occasional interference or surface noise audible in the run in, between tracks and in the very quiet parts however. This is not horrific and any audio of any volume is crisp and clear. I noted no stand out annoying clicks or pops and no jumps or sticks. Overall a clearly used record but one that produces a very enjoyable sound which is still of good quality and does the iconic album justice.
The gatefold sleeve is in very good+ condition. It has some wear to the edges and corners(pics), but there are no splits or weak areas anywhere and overall the sleeve is strong all round. There are no tears, scuffs or pen marks anywhere and only a few minor creases. There are however mild ring marks to both sides and some fading in places. There is also some general age related 'scuffing' or 'scratching' to both sides and a small faint sticker removal mark on the front in the top right corner. So overall a solid sleeve with no major issues but some superficial age related wear and issues as mentioned. Please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
It contains a brand new plain white inner as the original was missing.
It doesnt include any posters and as you can see there are no stickers present unfortunately.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
