PINK FLOYD - THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON
1973 UK 2nd pressing complete with unused posters and stickers, and wonderful stereo sound quality throughout
Year/Label : 1973 UK HARVEST Label number : SHVL 804 Matrix numbers : SHVL 804 A-3, SHVL 804 B-3 Stampers : 1 ARO / 1 GGPExcellent plus (EX+) condition vinyl - many would grade as "near mint", I am sure - completely flat and retaining a beautiful jet black lacquered sheen, coming across as unmarked in normal daylight and it is only with very close scrutiny under a bright light that just the very occasional small and extremely faint paper scuff line can be detected - amazing! The labels are in excellent plus (EX+) condition also - a few small and extremely faint spindle trails adjacent to the centre hole on each label, otherwise perfect! Clearly this is a record that has been played only sparingly and well looked after. A solid very good plus (VG+) condition Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold outer sleeve - firm edges with just some very minor and very intermittent light scuffing on the front top and bottom edges along with the occasional tiny "nick". The spine remains rigid with no blemishes whatsoever. There are just a few very light handling/storage marks on the front and reverse side, a little very mild ring wear on the reverse side and a very small old sticker mark at the top left corner of the front-side - do take a close look at my photos where, if anything, these minor blemishes seem to have been accentuated. The opening edges remain firm with no fraying and the corners remain nicely defined right angles with very minimal rubbing. There is the 1st pressing hint of blue in the black colouring of the gatefold and the all-important 1st press circular sticker at the top right corner of the front side remains in perfect condition. Both posters are unused and in excellent plus condition with no tears, blue tac residue or pin holes; and similarly for the two "CRACK BACK" stickers which are again unused and in "as new" condition. Superb, near mint (NM) stereo sound quality with no sticks, skips, repeats, clicks, distortion or background crackle - wonderful tone and crystal clear stereo reproduction with brilliant hard-to-fault sound quality throughout. Possibly the best audio quality of this prog classic that I have ever heard - stunning! Comes with poly-lined black inner sleeve (I can't vouch that this is the original though I have no reason to suppose that it isn't) with no seam splits or creasing. Note that I always ship the vinyl in a new plain white inner sleeve in order to protect the original. A truly overall excellent (at least!) condition copy of this 1973 UK 2nd press Pink Floyd classic - no wonder these A3/B3 matrix pressings are so sought after - the stereo sound quality is simply stupendous

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
