TITLE Dark Side of the Moon:
ARTIST: Pink Floyd
Release Number: Toshiba EMI Harvest EMZ 82005
COVER: Gatefold cover solid, no splits or creases, but some edgewear and scuffing. Spine completely legible. I don't know why they went with a thinner cardboard on this one but it is what it is.
RECORD: EX++ to NM. No visible flaws. I listened to this at VERY high volume and heard nothing that detracted from the sound. Rich and full sound, a very enjoyable listen.
EXTRAS: Obi EX+, intact, no tears, a bit of scuffing to the gold finish. Lays completely flat and looks good. The 30 page booklet intact, no rips or creases, but some scuffing to the front and rear covers. Toshiba 4 channel insert NM.
OTHER INFO:Audiophile Japanese pressing. One of the holy grails of Quad collecting, and with good reason. The sound is terrific. This lp is fully stereo compatible, and in stereo you will hear things that are buried in the normal stereo mix. In quad, the beginning of the song Time will definitely wake you up. Also Money, Breathe In the Air, Us and Then, Brain Damage, Ec;lipse and more.
I specialize in Japanese pressings, Audiophile and Quadraphone/4 Channel pressings. Mostly classic rock.
I've got too many LPs and at this point I need the space more than I need the vinyl. I've been a collector for over 40 years, so I know how to rate and ACCURATELY DESCRIBE an item. Standard grading. Visual unless condition is a question.
Mint - Perfect
Near Mint - Near perfect. I've seen descriptions that say near mint with minor scuffs or scratches. Hello??? If there are scuffs or scratches, it's NOT near mint!
Excellent - Normal LIGHT wear. An item that's been handled or played, but still an enjoyable listening experience.
Very Good - Noticeable wear, expect some surface noise.
Poor - A Frisbee. You won't see any of that here.
