Description
PINK FLOYD Dark Side of the Moon, Quadrophonic/Quadrophonie. German pressing 1973.
What you are bidding on is a -true- first edition German quadrophonic pressing of the legendary PINK FLOYD Dark Side of the Moon circa 1973. I've only seen one, and this is it! If you have seen another let me know, but for this moment we will say it is RARE and almost one-of-a-kind.
I bought this record new in about 1974 since I appreciated the high quality of German pressed records. It has been in my personal collection ever since.
I have not played this recording in more than 35 years, when my SQ decoder took a poop. I doubt if it has more than ten plays total.
Don't judge this book by its cover. The cover might not look perfect, it isn't. But the vinyl is as pristine as the day it was pressed, hands down. Super quiet and detailed.
Here is my conservative rating: Record; Mint Cover; VG
I will be posting a few other select LPs from my UK/German pressing collection soon. You might want to check out my other items and click Save-This-Seller.
