Hello and welcome to my listing for this fantastic album from Uk Prog monsters Pink Floyd “Meddle” full of amazing tracks !
This is a fantastic uk 3rd Pressing: textured gatefold sleeve; EMI Records Ltd. around the top of the label.
(Be aware some sellers on eBay are trying to pass this 3rd pressing off as a first pressing)
Boxed EMI on the labels
The sleeve, labels and boxed EMI is otherwise identical to Meddle but this version does not have HTM for mastering in runouts.
Inner right sleeve: 'Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd SHVL 795'
Inner left sleeve: 'Recorded at Air Studios, EMI Studios Abbey Road and at Morgan Studios London 1971.'
The vinyl is nice deep glossy black and very shiny and looks fantastic with only one or two light wispy marks
The labels are clean and free from damage and look fresh and crisp
The vinyl plays back beautifully with some light surface surface noise mostly noticeable on the run in grooves and quieter passages and overall sounds fantastic
The audio is rich powerful and dynamic this album truly is a pleasure to listen to on vinyl and this 3rd pressing sounds just as good as a first believe me as I have a copy!
The fully textured album cover has some age related wear mostly around the edges and a small signature on the inside that may wipe off please see pictures but overall is still nice and solid and very presentable
It’s getting harder and harder with the vinyl boom to find clean original pressings like this so don’t miss out on this one!
