<CONDITION:
Items described with an aural grade have been carefully played on a Garrard 301 turntable with an SME 312s tonearm and Koetsu Rosewood cartridge. All records are viewed under magnified light and cleaned on a wet vac cleaning machine
We treat grading very seriously and use the UK Record Collector grading scale with the addition of a (+) or (– ) to denote a slight increase or decrease in condition.
Records:
The surfaces feature a full rainbow lustre under angled magnified light. Exceptionally light paper chaffing from the inner sleeve only. The first press labels are very nice with full colour, no writing, stamps, or other detractors. The spindle holes show no evidence of use to the spindle holes. = Near Mint (NM)
Sleeve:
The un laminated Gatefold sleeve displays no writing, stamps, or cut outs. All text crisp and clear. Due to the fragile mature of the unlaminated cover there is some light discouloration =Excellent (EX)
Inner sleeves
The ‘Roger Waters’ inners are in nice order with light discoloration form age / storage onlyPlease take the time to study the images above and note our grading scale below
Grading Guide:
"MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklets etc are in perfect condition.Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
NEAR MINT: Very close to Mint with only the slightest signs of play and the very lightest paper chaffing only to the surfaces of the record. The cover shows only the very slightest wear
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Packaging:
Records within the inner sleeve will be removed from the cover and sandwiched between professional card stiffeners then inserted into a protective plastic sleeve. This package is then placed within a professional cruciform record mailer (N.B: We do not use cheap mailers)
