Description
This A1/B1 first press of Obscured By Clouds is in excellent condition and the audio is on a par with the best I have heard. The vinyl retains that glossy sheen of new vinyl and you have to look very closely to find even the finest of hairlines.
There is one small scratch at the beginning of 'Obscured by Clouds' which causes some crackle but this lessens as the track continues. From there on the audio quality is crisp and clear with only the slightest of interference here and there. On 'Mudmen' you perhaps hear the crackle a little more but this is only because the first minute or so is so quiet. I must stress that any crackle you hear is totally unobtrusive.
The first minute of 'Childhood's End' again plays with crackle in the background but then settles down with superb audio. 'Free Four' and 'Stay' play with very clear audio. 'Absolutely Curtains' does play with background crackle but as per the rest of the LP it doesn't get 'in the way' and still plays extremely well for a vinyl of this age.
The textured cover is also in excellent condition. It does have mild shelf wear on a couple of edges and a small mark by the catalogue number on the reverse side. Apart from that it is free of any other shelf wear and is certainly one of the cleanest copies you will find and being a first press it of course has the rounded corners.
The yellow/green Harvest labels are in excellent condition with very little spindle wear.

ALL RECORDS ARE PROFESSIONALLY PACKED IN STRONG MAILERS WITH CARDBOARD STIFFENERS. THE RECORDS ARE ALSO REMOVED FROM THEIR SLEEVES TO AVOID CUTTING THROUGH THE COVER AND PUT INTO A SEPARATE SLEEVE, AND THEN PLACED INSIDE A PVC SLEEVE.
