Pink Floyd 'Piper at the Gates of Dawn'
Original mono pressing on the blue/black Columbia label. Cat # SX6157
The condition of this record can only be described as truly exceptional. Good original copies of this album are becoming virtually impossible to find, and this has to be one of the best copies available.
The vinyl is in remarkable condition and has the 1G stampers, making it the earliest possible pressing. It maintains an 'as new' shine and produces an immense sound from the thick heavy vinyl and mono mix. There are a few extremely light marks on the surface, commensurate with a very light level of use but NO scratches and NO marks that effect playback. This record is undoubtedly EX++/NM.
The sleeve too is in remarkable condition. The laminate is perfect, as is the spine and all the corners. The unlaminated rear is bright white, with none of the staining and discolouration normally found. There is a hint of ring wear(the camera flash and angle makes it look much worse in the photo).
The record is housed in the original advertising sleeve, which is in great nick.
In short, this is a rare opportunity to aquire a one-owner from new original pressing. No sales-hype, no bulsh*t. You will NOT be disapointed by this record.

They are all in EXCEPTIONAL (mostly mint/NM) condition; all were purchased for my own collection and I am a VERY fussy buyer. I am very confident of the accuracy of my gradings, will offer a full refund to those who do not agree! Most of my selling feedback is from vinyl (usually spares or unwanted items).
I DO NOT describe records with a VG rating as being STUNNING or AMAZING or indulge in any of the other sales hype which unfortunately prevails amongst record dealers on eBay. My records 100% genuine and have not been treated in any way to enhance their appearance.
Any items selling for over £50 MUST be sent by registered delivery, for mutual protection. Insurance is optional, but recommended. My postage charges are as follows (UK/EUROPE/REST OF WORLD) £3.00/£5.00/£7.00. Items will be packed as I would expect to receive them. You can be confident that my LPs WILL NOT get damaged in the post, I know from bitter experience how infuriating it is to receive an LP with a damaged sleeve simply because the vendor could not be bothered to use adequate packaging.
