11 track LP on Columbia from 1967.UK stereo issue of Pink Floyd's classic debut.THE greatest psych LP ever.Syd Barrett's perfect and twisted popsike tunes set the standard for the whole genre.As you can see its a blue/black label issue.Cat.No. SCX 6157.Matrix number is YAX 3419 -1 / YAX 3420 -1."Sold in the UK" is in small print and there is no K T around the centre hole.Sleeve is half laminated with flipbacks.Printed by E.J. Day.Great pressing.Sounds sooooo gooood loud.Very tempted to keep this but selling this and other Floyd items for a friend.Rare item but no reserve.Happy bidding.

CONDITION:Record has some surface marks but i'm grading this from a listening viewpoint.Overall this sounds real nice.Such a loud and true pressing.Its not mint but when the band are in full flow it sounds amazing.I'm gonna try and list it as closely as i can.Played (LOUD) on a Project deck with a 1.5grm arm.Here goes...Side one: The worst fault is at the very very start.A couple of clicks and then over the echoed voices but before Barretts guitar starts there is a noise (not a click,a press noise).This repeats but quieter about 5 secs later.I had a "mint" copy with a similar fault 10 years ago...First track has a mark but this doesn't affect the play.Side two: There is a mark on Interstellar but this is only audible when the initial riff slows.Sounds 4 times.Overall OK.Light press noise only noticable on real quiet bits like in some bits of Scarecrow.OVERALL: Gonna grade this as VG+Sleeve is EX/VG++. Front art is in real good shape.Couple of laminate creases.Base corner has very minor storage wear(see scan 4).Back cover is in great shape.No ring or storage wear.Very minor colour next to the edge of the laminate on the flipbacks and a light mark on the base left flipback under the words Hayes Middlesex.S#pine is EX.Inner EMI bag is EX.Labels are both EX.
