Pink Floyd Dark side of the moon UK Solid Blue prism 1973 1st pressing

Gatefold Cover: VG

Record: Side 1: NM – Side 2: NM

Stickers: NM

Superb copy of the rare Dark Side of the moon 1stpress with solid blue label!

Matrix numbers and stampers are:

SHVL 804 A-2 GR and  SHVL 804 B-2 OD

The outer gatefold album cover as you can see in the picture has a slight compression imprint; the photo was taken in bright sunlight to clearly show this!

 It has no tears but the edges are worn and you can see that the compression marks are from when I stored it with my other LPs. There are no ink marks or labels on this cover.

Record comes in its original black, plastic lined sleeve, which as I have shown in the picture, does have a few frayed edges.

The posters are both in mint condition; never used.

The two stickers are the unused originals with 'permanent' written in red on the back (very rare); just one slight crease on the bottom corner.

Now lets get down to the most important issue;

The audio quality is amazing; clear & vibrant!

The record still possesses its original shine and has no 'clicks' or 'pops'.

The only time you can hear any static noise is at the extremely quiet start during the heatbeats of 'speak to me'/'breathe' (you will hear this on all LP's)

It has been carefully stored upright in a record case since 1980 and rotates perfectly level.  

Audio quality is graded Near Mint on my Michell Turntable based system

I have attempted to show in detail the true quality of this rare, complete, original and collectable vinyl record, and to that end I make no apologies about putting what some may consider a high starting price. I listen to it, I know how good it is, and I am not a gambler with something this seminal in Music History. 

I will post recorded delivery and package in thin, but much more solid plywood sheets to ensure safe transit.
