PINK FLOYD - THE WALL
Little played, brilliant condition 1979 UK early pressing of this Floyd classic
Year/Label : 1979 UK HARVEST Label number : SHDW 411 Matrix numbers : SHSP 4111 A-4U, SHSP 4111 B-3U, SHSP 4112 A-3U, SHSP 4112 B-2U with "TML-X" etched onto sides 1/2/3 run-off's, and "TML-M" etched onto side 3 run-off Stampers : 3 5 1 / 5 240 / 2 200 / 5 ??? (cannot make out!)Excellent plus (EX+) condition vinyl (some would grade as "near mint", I am sure) - completely flat, and each retaining a beautiful jet black lacquered sheen, coming across as unmarked in normal daylight and it is only with close inspection under a bright light that a couple of small and extremely faint scuff lines on sides 3 and 4 can just (and only just) be identified along with the odd extremely thin and barely visible paper scuff line - each extremely trivial, completely non-obvious, and purely superficial as the oustatnding stereo sound quality throughout testifies. The labels are in excellent plus (EX+) condition also - with really close inspection I can just about identify a solitary very small and extremely faint single spindle trail adjacent to the centre hole on the side 2 and 3 labels, otherwise perfect! Clearly this is a record that has been played only a few times at most. Excellent plus (EX+) condition iconic outer gatefold sleeve with firm and completely unscuffed edges, a rigid spine, perfectly defined right angled corners with no rubbing or compression, firm opening edges with no fraying, and all photos, text, and beautiful art-work remaining vibrant, crisp, and wonderfully defined. You might be able to detect one or two small and very faint surface handling/storage marks, but these (if they do exist) are negligible. This iconic 70's gatefold sleeve remains fully functional and eminently presentable and hard to believe that it is now 46 years of age! Superb, excellent plus (EX+) sound quality with no sticks, skips, repeats, clicks, distortion or background crackle - wonderful tone and crystal clear stereo reproduction throughout with brilliant hard-to-fault sound quality throughout. Comes with original and excellent condition original EMI poly-lined advertising inner sleeve, with no side splits or tears, just the hint of some very minor age discolouration towards the top edges and mild creasing towards the top corners. Note that I always ship the vinyl in a new plain white inner sleeve in order to protect the original. An excellent plus condition copy of this 1979 UK early press Pink Floyd classic, increasingly hard to come by especially in condition as truly impressive as this.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
