HERE WE HAVE A SUPERB UK HARVEST (SHDW 411) ORIGINAL ISSUE (November 30th, 1979) OF PINK FLOYD'S OUTSTANDING DOUBLE LP SET, "The Wall" ALL IN BEAUTIFUL, ONE PLAY, NEAR MINT CONDITION

THE LPs ARE HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL FIRST ISSUE GATEFOLD SLEEVE WHICH IS IN BEAUTIFUL, FACTORY-FRESH CONDITION AND COME COMPLETE WITH THE 2 ORIGINAL LYRIC INNER SLEEVES WHICH ARE ALSO IN SUPERB, PRACTICALLY AS-NEW CONDITION
THE WHOLE SET HAS POSSIBLY BEEN PLAYED JUST THE ONE TIME AND IS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING
THIS IS EASILY THE FINEST COPY OF THIS WONDERFUL LP I HAVE EVER OFFER FOR SALE

THERE ARE SOME SPECIAL CRITERIA WHICH MARK THIS COPY OUT AS A ONE OF THE FIRST ISSUES:
Front Cover: Gatefold sleeve. Printed by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. The sleeve is cream colored, not true white (as with later issues), with the brick outlines in purple and not completely aligned to the bottom edge. The cover is made from ONE SINGLE PIECE OF CARD with only ONE join on the top edge. The ONE single join is a sure way of making sure you have one of the first issue sleeves
Inside Cover: The credits on the inside cover do not list the members of Pink Floyd. It only says "Words and Music - Roger Waters."
Inner Sleeves: Heavy cardboard inner sleeves, printed by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. with rounded corners and a nine-inch thumb notch. The insides are untreated and tan in colour
AND FINALLY THE FULL MATRIX NUMBERS: SHSP 4111 A-4U / SHSP 4111 B-3U & SHSP 4112 A-4U / SHSP 4112 B-2U

LABELS: The record labels are in BEAUTIFUL condition. CLEAN and BRIGHT with NO wear, NO writing and only ONE spindle trace on each label. THIS COPY HAS POSSIBLY ONLY EVER BEEN PLAYED JUST THE ONE TIME!!
VINYL Visual: Both records SHINE LIKE NEW with their original DEEP, GLOSSY SHEEN. 2 BEAUTIFUL PIECES OF VINYL
VINYL Audio: Pink Floyd's soundscapes cover an AMAZING dynamic range from the loudest crescendos to the almost silent ambient details and to find a copy of "The Wall" that will play in anywhere near MINT condition has, in my experience, proved virtually IMPOSSIBLE as even "MINT" looking copies can still play with lots of clicks/pops and surface noise and it has been incredibly frustrating in all my years on eBay, as I have tried to find the best copies of this wonderful LP to offer you, that I have been unable to find one which plays in what I would consider anything even approaching NEAR MINT condition - but AT LAST I think I have found one!!
This copy not only LOOKS STUNNING AND VIRTUALLY MINT but it plays ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFULLY FROM START TO FINISH with hardly ANY of the problems I have ALWAYS encountered on this LP
The audio delivery here is absolutely SENSATIONAL – BEAUTIFULLY RICH, SHARP and CRYSTAL CLEAR. Both records play with TREMENDOUS CLARITY, NO distortion, NO groove-wear (its hardly been played) but most importantly it plays with virtually NONE of the problems always encountered i.e. excessive clicking, popping and surface noise during its many beautiful, delicate, quiet passages. This set DELIVERS AN ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING LISTENING EXPERIENCE ON EVERY FRONT FROM START TO FINISH and must be very critically graded as NEAR MINT (at last!!!!) and a finer copy of this LP I do not think you will ever FIND (I know I haven't). ABSOLUTELY AWESOME (not a word I use very often)
SLEEVE: The original gatefold cover is in STUNNING condition. Practically AS-NEW and as CRISP and FRESH as the day it left the pressing plant. Can only be graded MINT(-) (please see pics). EASILY THE BEST "WALL' SLEEVE I HAVE EVER OFFERED FOR SALE
INNER SLEEVES: The 2 lyric inners are also in BEAUTIFUL condition. Again, practically AS-NEW with NO marks, NO wear and NO splits. 2 BEAUTIFUL INNERS AND AGAIN 2 OF THE BEST I HAVE SEEN. The LPs are now housed - and will be posted in - 2 new inner sleeves to avoid any 'knifing' damage to the originals during transit
