HERE WE HAVE A SUPERB!!!!! UK HARVEST (SHDW 411) FIRST PRESSING (November, 1979) OF PINK FLOYD'S OUTSTANDING DOUBLE LP, "The Wall" WITH FIRST PRESS A-3U / B-3U & A-3U / B-3U MATRIX AND ALL IN BARELY PLAYED, STUNNING, NEAR MINT CONDITION!!! ONE OR TWO PLAYS AT MOST!!
HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL FIRST ISSUE GATEFOLD SLEEVE WITH "THE WALL" ACETATE 'STICKER' AND COMPLETE WITH THE 2 ORIGINAL LYRIC INNER SLEEVES!!
A STUNNING COPY AND VERY RARE - ESPECIALLY IN SUCH BEAUTIFUL CONDITION!!!

THERE ARE SOME SPECIAL CRITERIA WHICH MARK THIS COPY OUT AS A FIRST ISSUE:
Front Cover: Gatefold sleeve. Printed by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. The sleeve is cream colored, not true white (as with later issues), with the brick outlines in purple and not completely aligned to the bottom edge. The cover is made from a thicker cardboard construction than on later printings and is made of ONE SINGLE THICK PIECE OF CARD with only ONE join on the top edge. The ONE single join is a sure way of making sure you have a first press sleeve.
Inside Cover: The credits on the inside cover do not list the members of Pink Floyd. It only says "Words and Music - Roger Waters."
Inner Sleeves: Heavy cardboard inner sleeves, printed by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. with rounded corners and a nine-inch thumb notch. These two FIRST ISSUE inners have just the catalog number of the specific record listed on a single line in the lower right corner of the inner sleeve!!
Acetate "Sticker": First press copies do come WITH and WITHOUT this litle piece of plastic. Pink Floyd were extremely fussy over their sleeves and Roger Waters wanted ABSOLUTELY NOTHING on this sleeve apart from the bricks - NO TITLE/NO BAND NAME - NOTHING!! and copies were sent out as intended. The record shops were however, not impressed and demanded some kind of information for their customers so the album was almost immediately supplied shrink-wrapped with a 'sticker' under the tight shrink-wrap. Of course when the shrink-wrap was removed the 'sticker' immediately fell off (it was not GLUED on) and in most cases subsequently lost (or even thrown away with the shrink-wrap). The original owner of this copy however, had the foresight to keep the 'sticker' and it is present here in all its glory!!!!!!!

LABELS: The record labels are in PRISTINE with NO wear, NO writing and NO evident spindle marks!!!!  I WOULD SAY THAT THE RECORDS HAVE PROBABLY HAD ONE OR TWO PLAYS, AT MOST!!!! 
VINYL Visual: Both records lies perfectly flat on the turntable and ALL the surfaces have their original DEEP, LIKE-NEW, GLOSSY SHEEN. SUPERB!! On close inspection there are some light inner sleeve removal hairlines ONLY but these are of NO audio consequence WHATSOEVER!!!! The LPs are now housed - and will be posted in - new inner sleeves (along with the originals, of course!!!) as I believe inner sleeves should be used as inserts ONLY as they nearly always cause damage to the LPs over time, especially the thick card type, like these!!!!
VINYL Audio: The audio is absolutely OUTSTANDING!! - Covers an AMAZING dynamic range with CRYSTAL CLEAR, VERY STRONG and BEAUTIFULLY VIBRANT audio reproduction!! TOP QUALITY SOUND!! There are NO scratches, barely ANY clicks or pops (hardy ANY), NO jumps, NO sticks, and NO surface noise AT ALL!!!! (the run ins and silent passages are as quiet as vinyl can possibly be!!)  - truly awesome and very, VERY rare for a 1st pressing!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groove-wear and NO distortion!!!! This copy has probably only ever been played once or twice AT MOST!!!!!! This must be graded NEAR MINT for audio!!!! This record is NOT over-graded in ANY way as I use STRICT RECORD COLLECTOR grading standards!!!
SLEEVE: The original 1st press gatefold cover is SUPERB!! with NO edge wear, NO corner 'bumping' and NO marks!!!! A Beautiful CLEAN, SHARP and CRISP sleeve - almost AS NEW!!! The spine is PERFECT with of course nothing written on it!!!!!
INNER SLEEVES: The FIRST ISSUE 2 lyric inners are also in SUPERB condition!!! with NO splits, NO marks and NO creases AT ALL.!!! PERFECT!!
STICKER: Finally, the VERY RARE 1st press Transparency 'Sticker' is in TOP condition with NO marks and most importantly NO discolouration, which is MASSIVELY rare!!!
The 'sticker' is supplied loose, as Roger Waters intended and not stuck to the cover!!!!!
