Description

This record has been play tested, and there are several flags you should know about before purchasing. Both sides: scuffs and scrapes throughout. Side 1: Throughout the start of Astronomy Domine, there is either some gunk in the grooves or a parallel scratch, hindering some of the audio. There are also clicks throughout the end of Matilda Mother and the beginning of Flaming, but no skips on side 1. Side 2: See photos, but there is a large circular scratch that effects nearly the whole side and lots of smaller cuffs throughout creating surface noise in quieter sections of the side. There is several louder pops throughout Interstellar Overdrive, and one skip near the beginning of it. 
Overall, side 1 is nicer than side 2. Besides the handful of pops and skip on side two, it really plays surprisingly well, not amazing but not bad. 
The sleeve is nice, with some moderate creasing and stains (see images) and no seam splits. It is the second cover variant with "File Under POPULAR: Pop Groups" written in the upper right corner.

Matrix Information: YAX 3419-1 1 L / YAX 3420-1 1 P
The labels are the first variant, with the Ariel font style, placing it as a middle-stage first pressing. Stampers L/P indicate that it is among the first 2,400-4,000 stereo copies pressed in the UK!
