Description
Wish You Were Here A1 / B7 + Postcard
This very early pressing was issued soon after the A1/B3 first pressings and in between there was only the A1/B5 pressing. It includes the postcard and the lyric inner has four cropped corners.

The audio on Side One is Ex (Ex+ in many sections)

Visual grading
Whilst there are some hairlines they have very little affect on the audio. There are four more obvious ones on Side Two but if anything this side plays better than Side One. There are no deep scratches and there is hardly any spindle wear confirming it has only been lightly played and the quality of the audio pays testament to that as described below.
Play grading
'Shine On...' has very faint static at the beginning but does decrease as the track progresses. There are three pops about one minute in with a further three after approx eight minutes. Apart from that the audio plays very well with only intermittent static. Yes it can be heard but in my opinion it is not intrusive and the track still has excellent clarity. 'Welcome To The Machine' plays extremely well with hardly any interference, just a touch of static here and there.
'Have a Cigar' plays superbly well with barely any background static. 'Wish You Were Here' does have some faint crackle at the beginning and one pop and then plays with excellent quality with a little faint static during the quieter sections. 'Shine On Part Two' plays superbly well with great clarity and depth and only a hint of static in a few places.
Cover
The iconic cover is in excellent condition with only minor shelf wear and has retained its 'whiteness' extremely well with no staining. The edges and thin pinched spine have no wear which is a rarity. There are a couple of small creases towards the bottom left hand corner and one at the top and a further one on the back. There is also a little handling wear to the opening edge but overall this is a very clean cover.Lyric inner
This has the die cut inner sleeve with all four corners cropped. It is in excellent condition with a couple of small markings on the red veil side and a tiny amount of wear on the right handedge although it has not worn through. There are no splits to any of the sides.
Postcard
The postcard (with serrated edges) is in excellent shape with only one crease of any note to the lower right hand side.
