Description
Hello and welcome to one of my auctions! I am a record collector for over 15 years now and I think it’s about time to sell a couple records to make some room and pass it on to another collector. This week’s auctions feature my 1970’s and 1980’s special pressings that are from my own personal collection, so here we go!
On offer, an extremely rare German pressing of Pink Floyd – Wish You Were Here on BLUE vinyl on the Harvest picture label, cat. no. 1C 062 96918. This German pressing of this Pink Floyd album dates from 1978 and was pressed in very limited quantities, probably for export.
The record is in VG++ condition; there are a couple non-sounding hairlines and there is a barely visible non-sounding mark on “Have a Cigar”. The labels are in VG condition, there are a couple spindle marks and there are two small tear marks, one on each label.
The cover is in VG(+) condition, there is a drill hole in the upper left hand corner , there is a tiny sticker tear mark in the upper right hand corner on the front and also a tiny sticker tear mark in the upper right hand corner on the back and there is a small spot of sticker residue on the front. All in all, this cover looks very presentable to me.
The original lyrics inner sleeve is also still present and is in EX condition. There is only a small sticker in the upper right hand corner on the back.
This is an extremely hard to find German pressing on BLUE vinyl of Pink Floyd’s Wish You Were Here album. This copy is just as rare (or maybe even rarer) as all the other official Pink Floyd coloured vinyl pressings. And although the cover have a couple minor blemishes, this is a real opportunity to complete your life-time Pink Floyd record collection! A must have for all Pink Floyd records collectors!
