COMPLETE IN ITS ORIGINAL BLACK SHRINK-WRAP WITH THE 'WISH YOU WERE HERE' ROBOT HANDSHAKE STICKER, THE ORIGINAL 'CUT CORNER' INNER SLEEVE AND THE FIRST ISSUE SERRATED EDGE GLOSSY POSTCARD
IN STUNNING CONDITION - POSSIBLY NEVER PLAYED AND DELIVERING THE FINEST AND CLEANEST SOUND I'VE HEARD FOR THIS FIRST PRESSING - AN EXCEPTIONAL COPY AND THEY REALLY DON'T COME MUCH BETTER

NOTE ON FIRST PRESSING ISSUES WITH WYWH:
In my experience this LP, along with The Wall and The Final Cut is probably one of the most problematic Pink Floyd LPs with regards to the pressing and subsequent audio quality
I have found that even mint looking copies of this LP can play with lots of excessive clicking, surface noise and even distortion (with the first solo guitar break on "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" being especially problematic in this regard)
Many, many copies of this album have passed through my hands over the years so I understand how difficult it is to find a decent copy which will play with the minimum of issues, especially on higher-end systems.
I am therefore pleased to report that this one is STUNNING - not completely perfect (see detailed audio assessment below), but the finest and cleanest copy
*THERE WAS A REISSUE SOMETIME IN THE LATE '70s (or early '80s) AGAIN WITH THE BLACK SHRINK-WRAP BUT THESE COPIES HAVE A MUCH HIGHER MATRIX NUMBER - A9 OR ABOVE, THE INNER SLEEVE HAS ROUNDED CORNERS AND THE COVER DOES NOT HAVE THE CHARACTERISTIC FIRST ISSUE 'PINCHED' SPINE

Clean, unmarked, factory-fresh labels with no spindle traces or signs of use
VINYL Visual: MINT-
Both surfaces shine like new with just a few light brush marks caused by the inner reducing the grading from a full MINT
VINYL Audio: MINT / NEAR MINT
Side One delivers flawless sound - crystal clear, exceptional clean and sharp as a bell - no imperfections whatsoever. Side Two has some random ticks here and there (light and nothing I found at all intrusive) otherwise beautifully clean. Overall, a really stunning copy - possibly never been played and the finest example of this first pressing
SLEEVE: MINT/ SHRINK WRAP: EXCELLENT+
The cover still retains the original black shrink wrapping with the WYWH sticker.
This wrapping is very delicate, easily damaged and normally removed - but this one is in superb condition and apart from the withdrawal at the opening edge the wrap covers the rest of the sleeve (with just a couple of small beaks). It's never been taken off the cover and it fits tight and snug - the pinched spine edges on the sleeve underneath are clearly evident beneath the wrap
INNER SLEEVE: MINT
As crisp, fresh and beautifully white as the day it was made - no seam splits or indeed any wear at all - never seen the light of day
POSTCARD: MINT
The original serrated edge postcard is glossy, clean and unmarked with no bends or creases
