A sparingly played, brilliant condition UK 1st press copy of this Floyd classic with all components in great order
Excellent plus (EX+) condition vinyl - completely flat, weighty and retaining a wonderful jet black lacquered sheen. I hesitate in saying that this vinyl, unbelievably 50 years of age, is unmarked but it really is hard to fault in any way; with very close inspection under a bright light I can just about detect a couple of faintest of faint small scuff lines but I am sure that many would grade the condition of this vinyl as near mint. Again, the labels are near perfect with the only blemish being just 2 or 3 very small and extremely faint spindle trails adjacent to the centre hole on the side 2 label. All label text and art work remains in crisp and crystal clear condition. Clearly, this is a record that has been very sparingly played. Excellent plus (EX+) condition Garrod and Lofthouse non-laminated outer sleeve with firm unscuffed edges, rigid and perfect condition spine with 1st press "pinched" ends and all spine text remaining totally intact; perfectly defined right angled corners with no compression or rubbing; firm opening edges with no fraying; and all art work, colours, and text remaining crisp, vibrant, and with perfect definition. The only blemishes (too strong a word) are a single and very minor "nick" on the top edge and just a few tiny and totally non-obvious handling/storage marks...nothing really. The thin cardboard 1st press inner sleeve is in near mint condition with 3 of the 4 corners die-cut, a 21cm notch on the top opening edge to aid vinyl withdrawal and insertion, and all lyrics & credits remaining beautifully laid out. Each edge is perfect with none of the usual bottom edge splits. The original "PINK FLOYD WISH YOU WERE HERE" sticker remains nicely intact with some of the original black cellophane still attached to the reverse side, and the original "diving man" postcard with jagged edges remains in unused "as new" condition. As if this was not enough, also included is the extremely rare Pink Floyd Super All-Action Official Music Programme for Boys and Girls which was printed in the form of a 16-page comic for the short winter tour that ran from 4th November to 14th December 1974 to support the forthcoming release of Wish You Were Here. This booklet/comic is a true Pink Floyd rarity in it's own right and remains in excellent plus condition with no creasing or obvious blemishes at all - incredible! Superb excellent plus (EX+) stereo sound quality with no sticks, skips, repeats, distortion or background crackle. Wonderful tone and crystal clear reproduction throughout. Every track remains timeless and makes for a great listen. The only reason I cannot grade the audio quality as "near mint" (or even "mint") is that on side 1 there are x2 light clicks - one towards the beginning of the first track, and the other towards the beginning of "Welcome To the Machine" - frustratingly I am unable to detect the cause of either (though they are relatively unintrusive anyway and do not impinge upon the wonderful listening experience of this great album), so can only assume that the cause is the odd speck of dust caught in the grooves resulting from decades of upright storage, for which I have no doubt that a professional clean would remedy). The quality of the remaining stereo audio, including all of side 2, is near mint. A timeless prog rock classic!
Note that I always ship the vinyl in a new plain white inner sleeve in order to protect the original. A brilliant condition UK 1st press copy of this 1975 Pink Floyd prog classic and so difficult to now come across all components in such impressive excellent plus condition as this.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
