NOTE ON PRESSING ISSUES WITH WYWH:
In my experience this LP, along with The Wall and The Final Cut is probably one of the most problematic Pink Floyd LPs with regards to the pressing and subsequent audio quality
I have found that even mint looking copies of this LP can play with lots of excessive clicking, surface noise and even distortion (with the first solo guitar break on "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" being especially problematic in this regard)
Many, many copies of this album have passed through my hands over the years (never offered as in my opinion they are unacceptable) so I understand how difficult it is to find a decent copy which will play with the minimum of issues, especially on higher-end systems.
I am therefore pleased to report that this one is an EXCELLENT playing example - not perfect, but the best I have heard in a while

Side 2: Have A Cigar / Wish You Were Here / Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Part Two)
LABELS: EXCELLENT
Clean and unmarked with light/moderate spindles
VINYL Visual: EXCELLENT- / EXCELLENT
Both surfaces have light hairlines caused by the unkind card inner sleeve, more on Side One than Side Two but these have little audio impact and this copy sounds better than many unmarked/mint looking ones I have heard
VINYL Audio: EXCELLENT
Beautifully produced and engineered and covering an enormous dynamic range with all frequencies bright and clear.
As already mentioned this can be a very problematic LP regarding the audio quality and even though this copy has some light crackle in places and some non-continuous light ticks (all most evident on the quietest sections) it plays extremely well with no scratches or loud clicks or pops
SLEEVE: NEAR MINT
The cover still retains the original black shrink wrapping with the WYWH sticker.
This wrapping is very delicate, easily damaged and normally removed - this one is in great condition.
It has obviously been kept inside a protective sleeve all its life as the edges of the black plastic are factory-fresh and unworn and the black surfaces are deeply glossy and unrubbed.
Apart from the withdrawal at the opening edge the wrap covers the rest of the sleeve with no rips or tears and it looks like it has never been taken off the cover as it fits tight and snug - so the cover underneath should be perfect (although there is a little discolouration to the exposed white edge).

INNER SLEEVE: NEAR MINT
The original first issue inner with square cut corners and 9" opening thumb notch is also in superb condition.
Beautifully clean with no marks or foxing spots and no seam splits
POSTCARD: NEAR MINT
The original serrated edge postcard is glossy, clean and unmarked with just a very slight bend to the top right corner (hardly noticeable)
